Sam 'Acky' Anderson
Born 26th September 1952 in Maryborough, Vic. and bought up on a sheep/cropping farm.
Diploma Ag Science from Longerenong Ag College
Married in 1973
Lives in Nathalia, where he is a Dairy Farmer and also the Trainer for the Waaia Football Club.
Share farmed for 10 years. We had four children in this time.
Moved to Nathalia in 1983 when we purchased the farm on Pom Frets Road.
Leased adjoining property (Farleys) in 1995 and combined to milk 200 cows.
May 1999: Moved to Peter Clay Road Lease purchased this property from D'Aloia's. August 2003: Purchased from D'Aloia's

Nan and Pop's inturnment.
On Sunday 01/02 we held a inturnment service for Nan and Pop at the Nathalia Cemetary. Colin bought some soil from their farm at Biloela and I did the same from their garden at Maryborough. A local celebrant Jan Pearce conducted a short service and then we went up the street for lunch.
We weren't sure how the little kids would relate to the whole process but knew their parents had done the homework when Shaylee came up to Jan and said "My cat is here with Old Nan and Pop". It is all pretty simple really.
From my point of view a great relief to have Mum and Dad where they should be and a real feeling of the end of a chapter. If I can get things to work I will put a couple of photos related to this in the Photo Gallery!!
